Step 2: Enter Transactions With Payments and Receipts

Now that you are using the new Check Register feature, all transactions affecting your reconcilable bank accounts update the Check Register automatically at the time of entry. This includes your normal cash payments and receipts, but also more importantly any ledger transaction including a reconcilable account, advance payments on invoices, as well as payments from Order Entry and Point of Sale. Never before has it been this easy to get a real-time accurate view of your cash balance. And because the Check Register is updated instantly, you don't have to post to view your current cash status when reconciling accounts. The examples shown here are just a few of the types of transactions that update the Check Register when using this feature.
